SPEED-KITE WORLD RECORD WITH 212 KM/H

aeroíx - co-founder Christian Gebhardt established a new world speed record - at 212 km/h (scarcely 59 m/s) - with his kite at the “Coupe  D`Europe de Cerf Volant de Vitesse” in Étretat (France), on September 13th.

“Speedkiting” is a discipline in kite sports, aiming for maximum speeds with particularly kites. Measured via radar, just the maximum speed, which is measured along a certain flight path makes the decision. The challenge persists…
